Fun and Fast sailing at Demo Sails weekend

Plenty of new sailors got a taste of sailing the Melges 15 at the Royal Saint George yacht Club last weekend. North Easterly winds from 7 to 14 knots gave everyone a good feel for sailing the boats.

With 4 boats on the water, a changeover rib and some class members ready to jump in and sail there were lots of happy faces. Saturday saw stronger breezes with top speed of the weekend recorded at 15.4 knots.
