Demo boat reaches the Royal Irish Yacht Club

The Royal Irish Yacht club cadets wasted little time in getting to grips with the demo boat when it arrived this week. The ‘kites and wires’ course the level 4/5 sailors were on was the perfect place to learn asymmetric sailing.

With a skilled instructor on board, the kids were quick to pick up the skills and techniques needed to fly A Sails. . Learning to sail in a boat that adults are actively sailing and racing can offer a much smoother, non-intimidating transition from youth sailing and racing to adult racing.

Next stop on the tour is the National Yacht club where the boat is due to arrive on August 24th
